Horseback Hunts

New for 2004 we are offering a fully guided horseback hunting adventure. You will stay in the main camp and enjoy all the furnishings as the rest of the hunters and leave from horseback in the morning. Sometimes we will trailer the horses to a drop off point and you will start your hunt from there. You will have a chance to hunt country that has no road access and typically does not get hunted as frequently. A guide ratio of 2:1 is standard and there will be a surcharge for a 1:1 hunt. This should be a very exciting hunt and you will get into places that the elk and deer don't typically see people all year long. If the weather changes and you feel that you do not want to hunt from horseback we will accommodate your needs. It goes without saying that we provide all the equipment needed to do this hunt excluding your personnel effects.

If you have never had a chance to hunt way you should give it a try. All of our horses are working cattle ranch used and mountain friendly, making them very easy to handle. We will fit you with a horse that meets your particular riding ability.
